Grace Grannis
PT, DPTMY STORY
Grace has been a lifelong native of Chino Hills, CA, where she lives with her family and two dogs (Piper & Margo). She graduated from Whittier College in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Holistic Physiotherapy, a self-designed major that emphasized a circumspect approach to wellness. This would be the foundation for her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree through the renowned CSULB program. Her experiences in coursework, patient care, and clinical practice would lead her to pursue a career in outpatient orthopedics.
Grace was fortunate enough to avoid serious injury in her early years, but witnessed the incredible impact of physical therapy on those around her. From her sister's meniscus tear during high school soccer to her mom regaining strength after inpatient stays, this field created an indelible effect on her family's quality of life and on Grace's own aspirations to do the same. She maintains a passion for Women's Health, contributing to ongoing research on factors within the pregnancy and postpartum periods influencing patient's wellbeing. While still in school, Grace pursued additional education in pelvic health therapy through Herman and Wallace, with the goal to continue building these specialized skills. She upholds a drive for lifelong learning, in order to provide the best possible care for her patients.
