Julia Polanco
PT, DPTMY STORY
Julia grew up in West Covina, CA doing a variety of sports and activities such as tennis, softball, gymnastics, soccer, track & field, cross country, choir, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and musical theater. Her love for physical therapy started when Julia's niece was born with a Global Developmental Delay that made her niece miss many of her milestones such as crawling, walking, and speaking. Julia was able to witness her progress in physical therapy and realized that she could help people of all ages.
Throughout her college years, Julia interned at a pro bono clinic and orthopedic physical therapy clinic where she got to help those who were experiencing a variety of ailments ranging from stroke, Parkinson’s, amputations, total shoulder surgeries, and more. This filled Julia's passion and broadened her scope of how many people she could help.
