Adam Lee Lota
PT, DPTMY STORY
Adam was born and raised in Southern California and received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His interest in physical therapy began when he volunteered at UCSB's physical therapy department. He enjoyed the friendly, welcoming work environment and the interactions between the patients and all the staff. His additional volunteer experience affirmed his desire to become a physical therapist by experiencing joy and fulfillment in seeing the physical progress people make and the happiness they feel with how far they've come over time through physical therapy. He then went on to graduate from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
As a physical therapist, he enjoys helping people of all ages and wants to be able to help them reach their goals and hopefully get back to living their life before their injury. He strives to provide holistic care by not only focusing on physical and cognitive improvement but also taking into consideration the emotional and social factors that can affect the person's overall well-being.
