“Coury & Buehler Physical Therapy has shown me that it is never too late, you are never too old and you are never too injured to improve your health and wellbeing.”

In December 2011, Evelyn was struck by a vehicle while walking, which led to a major back surgery. After surgery, Evelyn attended two other physical therapy establishments, but found that her needs were not effectively addressed. She began to research other PT clinics on the internet and found Coury & Buehler Physical Therapy to have consistent high praise. After her first two weeks at CBPT, Evelyn thought, “Wow! This place is thorough, informative, and takes a holistic approach – addressing other areas of my body that were beginning to suffer due to overcompensating for the body parts that were not functioning.”
Evelyn worked with Angelo Urquico, PT, DPT and Roland Dulla, PT, DPT who provided individualized and progressive treatment each and every visit. Evelyn remembers that they took into account her long term goal of becoming physically active. Evelyn says, “Coury & Buehler PT is unique in that every person who works there, from the front desk, and the aides to the fellow PT’s, is extremely positive and creates an encouraging place for healing. Being injured can really bring your spirits down, but when you are in environment where people are encouraging and notice your improvements, it is much easier to get through the tough times.”
Upon reflecting on her results, Evelyn states that physical therapy relieved her of pain, but more importantly taught her progressive home exercises to maintain function, mobility and strength. Evelyn says, “I am more active now than I was pre-accident. I am now able to hike, jog, weight lift, and practice yoga pain and medication free thanks to Coury & Buehler!”
Evelyn is an advocate for physical therapy, eating clean, and staying active to live a healthy lifestyle. She says, “Coury & Buehler Physical Therapy has shown me that it is never too late, you are never too old and you are never too injured to improve your health and wellbeing. I share that message with everyone I meet who thinks injuries or pain has to prevent them from being active.”
