“I judge medical professionals by the two important "C's" = Competency and Care. Many have one or the other, some have neither, but very few have both. Greg has both!”

I've had spine issues for over 15 years. I had two spine surgeries - first for my lower back, the second for my neck. When I had my first spine surgery (lumbar) over 15 years ago, I wasn't much of a believer in physical therapy. I had gone to chiropractors, but they never made me better and over the long run I felt worse. I had given PT a try, but didn't have the best experience early on.
My daughter (Naomi Kim - also one of the CBPT success stories) was referred to Coury & Buehler Physical Therapy by Dr. Kelly Davis (pediatric sports medicine). While there, I met Greg Van Camp, PT, DPT, ATC and liked how he took care of Naomi.
I had neck surgery to put an artificial disc put in at C5-6, and a fusion at C6-7. While the surgery was very successful, most need follow up PT care for quite a while. A couple years after surgery, I started feeling more and more pain again from different vertebrae. Eventually the pain in my neck was too severe. The herniated discs in my neck were pinching the nerves that go to my arms and hands. Eventually my arms got weak and my hands went numb! So, I came to see Greg.
Now, I've been with Greg at Coury & Buehler Physical Therapy in Orange for years and realized I'll just always need ongoing maintenance care for my spine. Greg is awesome! I judge medical professionals by the two important "C's" = "Competency" and "Care." Many have one or the other, some have neither, but very few have both. Greg has both!
Because of the degenerative state of my spine, I've come to accept that I'll always need PT -- that said, Greg keeps me going and prevents me from getting all knotted-up. I'm pretty pain free, but when my body decides to flare up, I go regularly Greg and he’s able to clear it up easily.
I'm now able to do so much more. I can enjoy music again, playing instruments like the bass and acoustic guitar, which I love doing!
