
Peter Mitchell
PT, DPT, MS, CSCSMY STORY
Peter is a lifelong athlete beginning soccer and baseball at the age of 6. Those years spent on the field, court or wrestling mat ignited Peter’s passion for exercise. That passion for exercise was blended with Peter’s interest in medical sciences to ultimately lead him to become a physical therapist. Peter earned his bachelors degree in Kinesiology at California State University, Monterey Bay. Peter spent a number of years working as an emergency medical technician and personal trainer before going back to school to earn his master's degree in Kinesiology at California State University, Fullerton. Peter’s thesis focused on running kinetics and knee cartilage quality, ultimately having his project published. After the master’s program, Peter attended South College in Knoxville, Tennessee to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Now, Peter lives in South Orange County enjoying the sunshine and continuing to work towards becoming an orthopedic clinical specialist. In his spare time, Peter is involved in a number of hobbies and does whatever the weather allows.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES
Peter enjoys surfing, rock climbing, mountain biking, weightlifting and running. When not doing any of the above, he enjoys sitting on the couch with his wife and cat to enjoy a movie or the latest episode of whatever popular show.
