
Niko Kojima
PTAMY STORY
Niko was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up, he was very active in sports including golf, basketball, and wrestling. It was through his athletic endeavors that he found his passion for the human body and became interested in learning about human movement. Niko went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Fullerton.
After a few years of working as a sports performance coach and personal trainer, Niko decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. He obtained experience as a physical therapy aide in an outpatient orthopedic clinic while he completed prerequisite courses to start a physical therapy program. Niko went on to attend Cerritos College where he completed the Physical Therapist Assistant program. After interning in various physical therapy settings, he ultimately decided that he wanted to pursue working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a strong desire to help individuals improve their quality of life.
Niko strives to utilize his background in sports, health, fitness, and rehabilitation in a cohesive manner to provide patients with the highest quality care.

In his free time, Niko enjoys working out, DJing, playing basketball, and discovering new foods and restaurants to enjoy.
